I was quite depressed because all I wanted to be doing was to be independent and living away from home and it was basically dashed the things that I wanted to be doing. And even when I was more functional for scholarships I was supposed to go to school and study abroad and then I was just declared too unstable. My doctors were like ‘you cannot go’. So that was heartbreaking.
